15:50 advanced trigger types, "HALF" retriggers the amp envelop on top of the amp envelope, the HALF trigger has effect until the next HALF or full trigger or till the end of the sequence but you can also use it at the end and start of a loop(sequence), press and hold the half trigger and change the envelope, thats one way to remove a static tick. so 2 HALF trigger at the start and one at the end and set the amp envelop on these 3 to remove the tick. i had a hard time understanding this part, it's a very important and good feature.

This is one of the best music gear tutorials I've ever seen. Assumes beginner's knowledge, easy to see and follow, good pacing, and the topic reminder at the top right makes topics easy to find. Very well done! This helped me tremendously. (I would remove the background music/noise/distraction though!).

I know this is a dead piece of gear now but what kind of electronic music can you make with only 64 bar long patters?? If you have a vocal of a singer it’s almost impossible to use this piece of gear.

I am doing a live performance with recording audience responses on my MPC Live and then chopping them up on the MPC and playing them back along with my DJ set. Is this possible on the Toraiz SP16?

It's a different beast than Elektron Octatrack but for the money it is a choice to consider.

Little help- I can't change the BPM on my Toraiz, it is just greyed out, the only option is to adjust the swing parameter. And it is set to MIDI in the machine midi sync settings ( NOT Pro DJ Link ) Any help greatly appreciated

It's waiting for a midi clock from an external machine. Set it to internal instead of midi.
