It’s close to Christmas 2014 and I already received a really nice Christmas gift. The brand new Pioneer XDJ-1000. I wanted to play around with this player, as I’m looking for a couple of month for a new set of hardware, as my Native Instruments Traktor S4 controller broke down by beginning of the year.

At that time CDJ-2000 were the Pioneer player I looked into, since the CDJ-900 don’t have native support for Traktor. In the meantime a friend of mine switched from Traktor to Serato, so I was looking into Serato as well.
Two weeks ago Pioneer introduced the XDJ-1000, which caused an immediate “wanna have” thought in my mind. So, I’ve ordered them and got them yesterday.
With this video I was originally planning to give you a quick run-through. Well, I failed. Now it’s a 45minute video explaining the Pioneer XDJ-1000 in more depth, since I thought people like me would like to get more information about the actual functions right away. The video might be good for watching during a flight or right before you go into bed. It's long, but I'm that much excited about the Pioneer XDJ-100 that I had to share that much content with you.
