Thanks for making this interesting. I’m sure he told this story 10000 times. Jake you have a good way of wording questions. Witching this gave me little anxiety. Knowing I’ll never be as good

Thanks so much for the kind words. I had the same concerns. I was afraid of asking questions that were too obvious and might send Nikko into autopilot in his replies.

I am floored that there hasn’t been more views and likes by now. Come on humans.

Great interview, really enjoyed this one. Please please interview Craig Foster sometime. He started tattooing the same year you did, and has some super cool insights on the way the industry evolved to accept artistic freedom as your generation came up in tattooing. Super humble dude, and I think y'all could have a really cool discourse on unique style and art in general.

Love this interview with Nikko. Always been a big fan of his work and his approach to his work. Seems like one of the kindest people in the tattoo world as well. Will always support his brands due to how much he gives back to the community.

I agree. I was struck by his absolute positivity responding to any subject I introduced.

Really got some insights on this one! I feel like I'm in that category of newer tattooers who gets lost in making sure the subject matter is as on point as I can do it that I forget about the overall composition as it relates in a sleeve. Really good info on this one, I've got some homework now!!

It would be pretty damn cool if you could get Chris Nieves to do an interview. It’s someone that’s never mentioned or interviewed but, damn that guy is amazing both as a painter and tattooist.

I’ll be 100% honest, I don’t like nikkko but I respect his work and knowledge but that being said what he said about listening to other people I needed to hear that so bad, I’ll listen to artists that I have no business listening to and it does hinder your work
