The best thing about Kobe was that he wasn't blessed with the best physical attributes nor was he a freak of nature. He built his legacy on work ethic alone and he worked his ass off to become one of the greatest players of all time, perhaps the most skilled player to ever play the game. Doubt we're ever gonna see another player as obsessed about his craft as much as Kobe was.

F*$# me, but it makes me cry hearing about how hard this guy worked. Every time I think I was working hard I hear story like this about Kobe's work ethic and realize how much harder I could be working. This sh#t is scary. I can definitely try it and if I fail I can at least say I tried. This is what makes someone great and this is why he and only a few others can be legends. So much respect.

I recommend you dont get fooled by everything being labeled mamba mentality. I think the media and casual fans are disrespecting kobes legacy. Also a lot of the videos on kobe technique are not factual, kobe didnt even do it, or kobe wasnt even the first or best to do it. Just watch all the greats. Another great sg is D Wade and his tape is worth watching because he and michael jordan each have multiple seasons with more than 50% fg. Kobe never even got to 49% and shot below 40 multiple times. Wish you success. You got a lot of goats to learn from and are blessed with free tutorials!

I never used to appreciate Kobe until about 2014 when I wanted to up my game. I began watching film of myself and other pros, and I began to grow a very high basketball IQ. As my knowledge became greater, I one day watched some film on Kobe. That’s when I started to understand how good this guy really was. I saw how he would do subtle movements, condition opponents, react to their movements, making read, and so on. I realized how he truly is a genius and will always appreciate him from now and on

I love Kobe Bryant stories, especially since it seems like sports have become so political and divisive rather than unifying like always before. The stories about Kobe, Jordan, Bird, Magic, etc (the true all-time greats) all have a common thread: regardless of natural talent, they worked ridiculously harder than anyone and did not fear failure. Love it.
