The fact that there’s about a 30 MINUTE video of Kobe stories proves that there never was or ever will be a player like him. Carmelo did to an extent but not every time and not to the same level. Wade, Lebrun, Durant, etc. just didn’t have that drive. You could tell that in their minds Kobe had already beat them mentally.

Larry Bird is probably the only player with drive to win like Kobe had... Jordan was built different and didn't have to practice because he was just so good others couldn't compete with him. Great video. I’ve been a sports fan since 89’ of all sports and athletes. Kobe is the only one I can say I LOVE. When news came that he passed, ex girlfriends and old friends texted me, knowing how much He meant to me. I live in MD so I had to get NBA LEAGUE PASS just to watch every game, and I did. I watched probably 86% of his games over 20 years. I’m sitting in a bar and a stranger gets an update on his phone. Espn. “Kobe Bryant Dead”. As always you are skeptical. Then I hear “helicopter crash”. My heart sunk. I knew how much Kobe utilized Helicopters and then news started flooding in. I remember my parents telling me where they were when certain significant persons had died. I’ll never forget that day. I’ve liked and admired a lot of athletes from various sports, but Kobe was my guy. I’ll always love Kobe. Great video.

There was nothing like seeing the Black Mamba in real life playing at home in the Staples Center. The days he was playing with Shaq were some of the greatest memories I will forever cherish in my life. He always gave 110% when he was on the court and you could FEEL IT. The day he passed away, it was so beautiful to see how all of southern California came out to the arena to gather in his honor and pay tribute to this man. The atmosphere was electric and there wasn't a dry eye in the thousands of people that were there that day. Men.. women.. children.. of all ages came. As well as Hollywood stars and other famous folks came to pay respect 🙏🏼. Kobe is one of those players that almost every single person LOVED HIM ❤
