Why I love crackling so much, I've no idea. Does it come from the days listening to the sounds of my old vinyls with their slight imperfections under the needle, or when the needle got to the end of the record and there was no automatic arm and the record just went around and around, or at the start of an album where you had just that little touch of crackle? Again, no idea, It just creates a gorgeous buildup as the theme starts making its way in.

New here, and I,ve watch all the film,s and I,am impressed, I sometime,s hear songs that I know, but not sure, Like this track , reminds me of the Drama shooting the past by Adrian Johnston’s but then there bit,s of the Danny Boyle films 28 Days Later music by John Murphy, vary intriguing and fascinating out these sounds crisscross into drones and melodise, I know people need inspiration to do sometime that drives them, But I find them modules vary interesting great to look at. can you make a film about them in that wide format you used in your film maybe you could blend montage the bay area into it. then a break down of out they work. ? Take a hint from the man below, make your own film. Keep it up. good stuff.. .../|\AWEN IS IN YOU

@wotmate14406 жыл бұрын
I know it's been ages since you uploaded this... but if you remember any, i'd love some patch notes. This is one of my favourite pieces of yours, in terms of how it builds, the harmonic progression, the gorgeous crackling, and the part that comes in at 1:40. And how you could do this all on a modular setup live... blows my mind. Thank you.
@rbeny6 жыл бұрын
sort of a simple patch. the high plink-y sounds is rings being looped by dld/clouds. the chords are audiothingies p6. the crackling is all from the dunst module, running through lofi junky. tough to remember any other details, but it's some kinda combination of that.

what a beautiful beautyfull melody...something like romeo and juliet...how did you do the polyfony pad chords.?
@rbeny7 жыл бұрын
Rings has pseudo polyphony. The rest is Clouds doing it's thing with it's delay and reverb.
@briansansone7 жыл бұрын
Im curious as to how you got that ethereal sounding drone going; from the initial notes. Very cool piece.
@rbeny7 жыл бұрын
The 2 Mutable Instruments Clouds. One is in looping delay mode and I add a little feedback as the video goes on. The other is in pitch-shifting/time-stretching mode.
@milymlody7 жыл бұрын
How did you achieve polyphony in the beginning ? Are those sounds from audiothingy ? The long release on those notes are over lapping. Anyhow - very beautiful indeed. Great job :)
@rbeny7 жыл бұрын
Mutable Instruments Rings allows for up to 4 notes to overlap each other while decaying
