Thanks for this info mam, pls let me know what does this "SDR 11" stands for .. i found it printed on pvc pipe used for houshold regular water supply.

SDR is Standard Dimension Ratio. SDR is a method for rating pressure piping. SDR= D/ S where 'D' is the outer diameter and 'S' is pipe wall thickness (mm). An SDR 11 pipe is outer diameter 'D' of the pipe is eleven times the thickness 'S' of the wall diameter.
