Awesome job helping out people on Christmas day. Yesterday my customers water heater leaked and the gate valve didn't work so they turned off their house water. I replaced their tank, they were very grateful. Helping people is what it's about and you get to make a living doing it, I love this job!! You are leading by example by covering Christmas emergency calls. It is so hard to get good service on a normal work day, there you are , the owners boss covering emergencies on Christmas. I hope your staff sees how you really care about your customers. This is a life lesson for when they grow into management or open their own business.

I feel the pain for anyone dealing with this today 9° in Pa this morning Woke this morning at 2am to no heat! 1989 Columbia oil boiler, oil tank got too low, oil filter clogged real bad, lack of maintenance Luckily service was out by 9am with 20 gallons and a new filter and screen Thank you for being out today to keep people alive!

so very true Mike. i have always believed that you treat your customers home like it was your grandmothers home. I always used car wax on the condensers and furnaces and yet I was written up for going above and beyond on each job. I do not care what managers say I will always take the customers needs over mine any day of the week

@@PipeDoctor living in Vegas I found that almost every company out here ignores the customers. When I worked in the field as a senior tech it drove my dispatcher crazy because before I did any work I would first calm them down let them vent and explain to me exactly what's been going on. Then I would go through my diagnostics determent the issue and give all options. Starting with quoted repairs, system upgrade or the third option of doing nothing . In my 22 year carrier I have always walked away with $600 to $1000 repair ticket or system replacement sale. No pressure 100% up to the customer to make there chiloice. But it's all about building the relationship. Love what you do mike. And thank you.

Hey Mike, I was thinking about this frozen pipe issue, something we don't have to deal with in sunny Sarasota FL. I thought maybe install a Grunfos recirc system,comfort series,and put the thermostatic cross connection valve in the area where you are most likely to get a freeze situation. It will keep the water moving,keep it warm and some of that heat may migrate to other fixtures like the tub or shower.let me know your thoughts. It could be a nice upsell and the homeowner can use all the time on a timer for quicker hot water or only in a deep freeze situation like you are in now.peace brother,wishing you a prosperous new year my friend. P.s. Be careful not to turn your company into the Jerry springer show,you'll attract more qualified people and your businesses will really take off,free advice from an old salt!!
