Pipedrive pricing explained (and is it worth it?)

If you want to track e.g. deal "source" I presume you could add a custom field for that on the Advanced plan, i.e. you don't have to use the Professional plan? It would mean that you wouldn't get the REPORTING OPTION - however with a pivot you could extract that information yourself. Am I missing something here?

You can create a custom field with the Advanced plan. But in order to create a custom report, you need Professional. And yes, you could also do this by exporting to Excel and creating a pivot.

I’ve been using Pipedrive for years and really love it as an overall sales CRM. But I absolutely hate that they bought out Mailigen and then decided shut it down completely which now forces me to go have to purchase their add-ons for their email campaigns which is terrible.

Does the pricing not work out similar seeing as you're no longer paying for Mailigen?
