@@kanna231 the issue that the elders were afraid of is when whitelighters fall for their charges it can have bad consequences well what they see as consequences say if they broke up the whitelighter may advert from his or her post making their job harder they were never keen on witch whitelighter hybrids but also if a whitelighter got corrupted the demons or evil doers could use to their advantage but did hate they were so against piper and leo

​@kanna231 whether the Elders knew of Patty and Sam's relationship isn't known. A possible theory for the banning of Whitelighter/Witch relationship could've been about conflict of interest or there may have been a past relationship prior to Piper/Leo that resulted in negative consequences

Because the elders didn't want witches and whitelighters marrying .It was in season 3 due to pipers anger about how her and her sisters fight evil all the time and that it's not fair she doesn't get anything in return.That the elders finally caved and let them have their wedding the second time

i really didnt understand this. i thought that the episodes after would continue from this and you would see them having to deal with trying to find out where leo was but it was basically business as usual the next episode as if nothing happened.

It wasn't just fear for herself it was fear for all of them. She says it in the episodes, don't rewrite. Also Phoebe has never experienced the sort of love Piper and Leo have until she met Cole. She couldn't understand why they would risk their lives and everyone's, until she had that experience.
