Piper Pa-38 Tomahawk - Liverpool Airport

Happy new year everyone!
Sorry there haven't been many uploads lately, its been busy in work and especially over Christmas and New Year.
This is a video of a flight from early January 2019, flown in a Piper PA-38 Tomahawk (G-BNSL) from Lomac Aviators at Liverpool Airport. This was a short local flight, routing from Liverpool Airport, up to Seaforth VRP, then across to Haydock and down the southern route of the Low Level Corridor that separates Manchester and Liverpool control zones. This ends at Ashcroft Farm airfield and the flight then routed over the Beeston Castle and then back into Liverpool via the Tarvin VRP.

I've enjoyed some of your short videos, do you still fly with lomac aviators ? How do you find them ?

Thank you, I'm glad you like watching my videos. Yes I do still fly at Lomac Aviators. I did learn to fly with Liverpool Flying School but changed to Lomac after I passed my PPL.

Rob Crossley I’m thinking of going to Lomac to try to revalidate a lapsed ppl, so difficult to know which school to choose. It’s the students / people like you that I need to ask, not the flying schools 👍

@@justmejonboy I've found Lomac to be very much like a 'club' rather than a school in both atmosphere and the way it's operated. All staff are very friendly and not stuck up etc at all. It's a nice place to be and lots of opportunities to fly out with other club members to different airfields etc. I would suggest going down and seeing for yourself and compare them that way. I particularly like flying G-WARW - it's a really nice aircraft to fly.

Rob Crossley I can completely relate to so much of your last reply ! Partly why I stopped flying, found myself dreading turning up which can’t be right when £££’s are continually being handed over. I like the idea of trips with other ppls’s cost sharing etc. I think I’ll call in. The frequent flyer idea looked interesting (if I get that far and if they still it)
