The Islanders tag team was the first time I knew of Haku, who became King Haku, i guess from winning the king of the ring tournament, which wasn't televised back then for some reason. Then the highlight of his career in my opinion, winning the tag team championship with Andre the Giant, as the colossal connection. I don't know what became of Tonga kid, after the Islanders broke up 🤷

It’s future tag team partners “Quick Rick Roberts” and “Tonga Tom”! By the way, the Tonga Kid was easily the most athletically gifted of all the Samoan family of wrestlers. Very underrated, and his career was way too short!
