Piper pushing Savage's buttons was legit here! Savage had a lot of trust issues with many people about Elizabeth.. but years later he realized she wasn't as innocent as he ever though.
@Panwere363 жыл бұрын
@@ladyrose7793 , again.. people like you have facts to contend with. Many people tell much different stories than this, and Vice's episode of Dark Side of the Ring about them contradicts that heavily.
@Panwere363 жыл бұрын
@@ladyrose7793 , also. simple truth... *_she cheated when he remained a faithful husband._* Also, how they met in real life.. back in those days.. health clubs and gyms were pretty much meat markets. She was already no innocent.
@Panwere363 жыл бұрын
@@ladyrose7793 , just as many people contradict those stories and tell different ones. Also, for someone "locked away", Elizabeth was very high profile especially at the height of Randy's career. Her absence after he was paired with Sherri, especially, as I said, is explained in the episode of Vice's Dark Side of the Ring. The fact you are so willing to dismiss well researched journalism undercuts your POV clinging to what is very much a mixture of urban legend and distorted perceptions from notorious addicts and failed/faded stars.
@Panwere363 жыл бұрын
@@ladyrose7793 , first off, he never "locked her down". All offense, as I said, a well researched episode of a series devoted to investigating these kinds of stories TOTALLY CONTRADICTS what you are believing. Second, IT IS FACT SHE CHEATED ON HIM! Either you are a mark or someone who totally has no clue about things. I DARE you to watch the episode of Vice's Dark Side of the Ring about Randy and Elizabeth..because it is obvious you are afraid of facts and need to believe the man was some kind of monster. She died because SHE had no self-control, btw... taking doses of drugs intended for grown men over 230 pounds like they were candy.
@Panwere363 жыл бұрын
@@ladyrose7793 , and you did? You knew them personally? You met them and saw this happen? Please tell me what you know that "proves Randy Savage was an abuser" other than fifth and seventh hand accounts from people. I grew up on the pro wrestling of the era (I was born in 1974, btw) and the fact you immediately thought I was younger screams volumes about you, but aside on that, I watched how things went down contradicting the image you are buying into. You are dismissing entire proven events, such as her lying to Randy in order to go prowling for someone (which she did) and Randy for years blamed the Hogans.. when she lied to them as well. This even comes from Beth Hogan, Hulk's ex-wife, who has NOTHING to gain by lying. All offense.. your clearly feminist blinders on POV is not jibing at all with many of the facts.

Randy Savage getting all paranoid that Piper is gonna touch Elizabeth he played that part well (what is wasn’t an act he was like that in real life!)

This fued could never have happened as both personalities needed to be put over. They were on different trajectories. Piper was consistently billed as being 6’1”. Savage was consistently billed as 6’2”. But it’s clear as day here Savage doesn’t break 6 feet without the cowboy boots. 😂 In a real fight I put Piper over Savage; training in judo by Gene Lebell, boxing skills and years of street living beats Macho Madness. Two of my favorites here. Thanks for the upload.

Mikey666 Stoneking 69 They wrestled twice in WWF. as far as I know. The first time was December, 1986 in Maple Leaf Gardens, the same night that Dynamite Kid injured his back. The match was up on KZbin, don't know if it still is. I believe it ended in a DQ. The second was sometime in late 1989 when Piper was returning from his "retirement". Piper pinned Savage and the photo of the pin was on the cover of The Wrestler magazine. The heading read something like "Piper pins Savage...and Hogan is scared stiff". They had an inset of Hogan looking bug eyed. Great stuff, great era.
