Thank you very much for uploading these types of videos. They help me very much. I live in Sanford, FL; and your flight school has great similarities to my flight school. You have helped me prepare for commercial, multi, and now I am enrolling in the CFI course! You are truly, Smitty WerbenJagerManJensen

I appreciate the effort, but she is so lost in all these videos I’m afraid it’s hurting more than helping. Primacy matters.

Sorry you feel that way! We try and correct any mistakes in the videos to help the viewer as much as possible. This was a ground school session, not a checkride. Some of the people sitting in just began their rating so there was a lot to learn! We hope you understand.

At this stage she was a student that just started her multi classes, did you expect her to know it all ?

Exactly, I almost feel like it enables learning and memorization of so much wrong, incorrect, incomplete information to do it like this without basic preparation. Hurts to watch too.

I am a trained twin pilot and I can say that I would never have succeeded with rambling knowledge such as this. Surely this is not the standard today. She does not know her stuff.

These were two brand new candidates for their multi rating… They were in the beginning phases of learning, this is not a check ride by any means. luckily, both pilots went onto achieve their CFI, CFII and MEI ratings, and now work for the airlines. I do have a multi engine oral exam posted on my page if you would like to check it out. Also, if you are interested, we have a two-part CFI oral exam as well.

My DPE is an a$$ who will not accept these broad type responses, he will dig far deeper than a novice pilot (non-mechanic) should ever have to know about the airplane. I don't know, I'm not the mechanic, I'm the pilot, how's that Mr. DPE for an answer. This "DPE" lets her very light answers suffice. "I'm gonna speed this up, I know you know"... she barely knows this stuff, you can tell by her answers which are almost all wrong in either a verbal or technical sense (and often both). I had to stop watching this because I know most of what she's rattling off is only going to screw me up for my oral. Appreciate the post and your intentions nonetheless as I know you did this just to help others prepare.

Hey there! Thanks for reaching out. Just wanna let you know this was only a Ground School, not an oral exam. There were brand new candidates for their rating. They were just in the beginning phases of learning the material. Luckily, both candidates went on to achieve CFI, CFII and MEI ratings.

If you ask me a question, I typically always get the first answer wrong - I don’t care if it’s my name. Lol.
