I've met a lot of DPEs, and work with them consistently now as a CFii and this fellow is legit and good-hearted from the vibes of this interview.

Very good interview !! Most of DPE know very well their stuff. Which books they use for their knowledges like commercial instruments or ATP or multi engine ??? because some books are just good for the written exam but they are not in depth in the subjects

Your question at 6:00 doesn’t make any sense… saying that twins don’t have to be “certificated for Vmc” doesn’t really hold water. I don’t know of any twins that don’t have a published Vmc speed. Are you trying to say that they aren’t required to climb on one engine?
