Last question answer 38.9 hours Sir did mistake. Initially B should be taken as 180 or 1.8x A should be taken as 100 or x X=70 hours that is taken by A And B is 80% efficient than A, if efficiency is more time will be less. there for 38.9 hours taken by B alone.... Hope everyone got the thing 😊

B = 180%(A) B/A = 180/100 A:B = 5:9 (efficiency ratio) as eff ∝ 1/time B takes 'x' hrs (we have to find) & Both A and B takes 45hrs. B/(A+B) = 45/x 9/14 = 45/x x = 70 Hence B takes 70hrs 😃👍

Question 1 B is slower pipe slower pipe takes 3*48 takes 144 days to fill the tank alone

sir In 14:38 why we didnt take 1/x - 1/3x =1/32 and why we have taken directly x-3x=32.

First we need to find values of each pipe time

32 min is time difference to fill the tank.so time difference of A and B to fill the whole tank was taken.

B is more efficient means it takes less time. If B takes x time then A will take 1.8 times x.

In Google he took B = 1/1-x , you took 1/1+x , your answer is 20 , Google answer is 30

Yup... If you take efficiency A= 100% ; B = 180%..... If u solve u get A= 126 h & B = 70 h to complete the whole wrk.
