Town of Salem is a social deduction game similar to Among us and Goose Goose Duck. Among Us/Goose Goose Duck allows you to play the game with up to 4-15 players, Town of Salem allows up to 15 players in a single game.
Like Among Us/Goose Goose Duck, you can be good or evil with factions such as Town, Mafia and Neutrals. Among/Goose Goose Duck us has 2 roles (without mods), town of salem has 33 different characters in the base game. Town of Salem is a great alternative to Among Us/Goose Goose duck if you're looking for another game in the social deduction genre. @@pluto3194 Spy isn't very good when hidden from the town since you can do all of your abilities without even triggering visits on to other people (Bugging is an astral visit, so vet/dusa doesn't kill, tracker/lo can't find, etc) so it's best to claim D2 and post Mafia movements in the chat until you inevitably get politically assassinated to prevent an evil majority as soon as possible.

I think the BM'er attacking you the same day as the mafia attacking you was an attempt to trigger a trap. BM'er triggers the trap, mafia kills. except they remembered the mechanics wrong and it dosen't work that way. at least that the only sane reason I can think of behind that move.

Amnesiacs can be a bit buggy when remembering certain roles. Remembering vampire like in this video does not affect the amount of vampires that can be gotten through conversion, and I remember seeing that if an amnesiac remembers godfather, and the mafioso ends up dying, there is a possibility for the godfather to be "promoted" to mafioso. My guess as to what causes this is that in these two cases, there is some variable in the game's code that updates whenever vampires bite or die, as well as code to determine whether there is still MK killing alive. When an amne remembers one of the two roles, these variables are not updated accordingly (and in the case of remembering GF, they are not considered MK in the games code, but just mafia), which causes issues like this.

There was a very slim chance for VH (since we knew Any was Vamp, only the RT could've been VH). Highly unlikely, but certainly possible; I personally still wouldn't call out names until 100% certain there was no VH.

hey pipe, you’re probably never gonna see this but thanks :) i started playing town of salem during alpha when i was young but as i grew older i got more introverted and anxious so i found it really hard to play the game. watching your ToS videos gave me the confidence to play again and in my first round after like 6 years of not playing i got the Immovable Object Meets An Unstoppable Force achievement as pestilence! granted i lost, but hey, sick achievement am i right :) so yeah, thanks a ton and keep up the amazing work!!

That "creepy" skin that the arso was using, I could be wrong, but I think that was based on Wade aka LordMinionr777, due to the W on the skin's shirt and the fact that Wade would always use that skin in his videos. Back when he was playing this game and it was fairly new, they created skins based on youtube creators that did videos on the game.

That bit about the guys saying who they were going to claim reminds me of this coven game where I convinced the amne to go coven by just saying that there was a CL. The catch is there was no CL and there never was, but there was a guy that claimed witched d2 and nobody questioned it even though neither a hypno nor a CL was ever found. We won by vote on the last day.

I had a funny game with a similar premise. I was Invest and N1 found someone Vig Vet Maf Amb, and D2 I was whispering to the Jailor claim and someone whispered me in response and I outted them as BMER. They immediately rage quit and we lynched who I investigated and it was Mafioso. I knocked out 2 Mafia by N2. Town hailed me as the MVP.

@@hamood2822 there's different strategies in both tos and bloxton, it wouldn't really work in tos as the person will only claim attacked if they were healed/protected, and bmer would thus only have a slim chance to get a mislynch if they had defense (most likely no, because they're blackmailed). Also, just something I've been wondering, under limited use licence under the BMG terms, bloxton mystery should 100% not be allowed. How the hell is it still up there?
