This is unrelated to this video, but I just had the exact example that Pipton described a few times when talking about how this game isn't so much about social deduction anymore: a pros came out and prosecuted 2 evils, a deputy came out and shot an evil, and then I started a tribunal and hung 3 evils. This happened on d2 and the game ended

I'd say nerf town, or you'll have the same problem just worse because you'll have the same OP town and OP evils making games even quicker.

Yea it's definitely an issue now. Way too many confirmable townies. And like guaranteed confirmable too, not semi confirmable.

They need to have any auto confirming town role disable the abilities of the other auto confirming town roles untill the first one dies. Example Deputy shoots someone? Marshal and mayor can't use their ability untill deputy is dead.

There has been a distinct rise in the number of people just throwing as of late. Ti's just not posting in the open d1, Ritualists randomly guessing d1. Evils who just don't claim. It's kind of frustrating.

Legit had a game today where the Psychic never posted because “posting just gets me killed by coven”. They were the only TI besides a Lo and a purple LO/tracker hybrid.

Is your first d1 supposed to be d2, and is the second one supposed to be n1? I thought TI’s claimed and posted d2 and obviously rits can’t use their ability during the day.

Agreed, had someone claim spy last game at like d3 and act like a jester/evil for most of the game and never post will. Almost made us lose to hidden soul collector.

I miss TOS1 Invest. It was one of my favourite town roles, and i always fake claimed it when i was Witch/Consig.

Maybe they should've made it random (results) because some ppl found it hard to keep up with exact results, but otherwise, it was far better

The way they did it had way too much influence and restriction on the claim meta. I agree that randomizing it would have helped, but that came with other balance issues they didn't want to work out.

Wow, when I saw 5 pushing that hard for TP/LO I thought for SURE they were a Veteran. I was too distracted by that to even factor in the scumreading that went into guessing the conjurer and serial killer.

I hit Ti peak in my first 5 games, one was sheriff, found a coven and sk and town just won by d3, next was a coro game and a berserk killed so I just autopsies to find it and I found it immediately

I am more willing to trust a Coroner over an Invest claim. It depends of the flow of the game, sure, but fake claim Coroner requires some manner of thought, due to seeing the exact killer. Else, you are exposed. Invest is as lazy as Ret, but now you can do 'Percept' instead of 'Investigate'. Coroner also has the fact of confirming themselves fast with the exact killer if found. Also, Coroner is underestimated A LOT from the TIs. There's also the fact Tracker can confirm a Coroner when they autopsy someone, due to them visiting the dead person no matter what, along with the one they are examining. It's still a rather weak role, but when gaining trust, a Coroner is easier to discern if what they are saying is real or false. Coroner team here.

I haven't played ToS2 myself yet but from what I've seen from videos I'd rather role Invest just because evils are more likely to fake claim Coro which means Coroners don't tend to be as trusted.

wouldnt it have been better to visit 12 in the last night? there is nothing that punishes you for visiting, but if you get shrouded, you at least redirect it, instead of being killed for staying home.

Investigator. I just started playing a few days ago and I already loathe the rolls that require people to get killed in order to do anything. My last coro game I got hung day 3 because I had a weak claim after no one got murdered N1 and N2.
