It’s lovely I wonder how the heat of the fresh transparent soap didn’t affect on roses ?
@luciesteblovakantorova3 жыл бұрын
Transparent soap wasn't too hot to cause any damage to the roses. At least I didn't find any changes on them. And thank you very much!

They look nice but what’s the lather like?
@luciesteblovakantorova3 жыл бұрын
The lather was quite good, because the soap was 50% classic CP. And thank You for Your comment.
@marydhanyalouisa4 жыл бұрын
The cold process part would need to cure and dry up for 4-6 weeks and so it would need to be exposed to air. With all that glycerine, the melt and pour portion would surely sweat if exposed to air and so it would need to be wrapped. And this soap is like a 50:50 composition ie 50% cold process and 50% melt and pour.so how would you wrap this soap and when?

Mary Dhanya Louisa Yes, this is the question 🤷♀️. You have absolutely right and I am so curious about it too. I did this for the first time, so I will see. For now, I let the soap on the air, because I wrapped one piece of soap and it started sweating. So I am watching them and will see. And thank You so much for Your comment! 🥰🌹
@marydhanyalouisa4 жыл бұрын
@@luciesteblovakantorova oh that is so interesting that the wrapped soap was the one that was sweating..well i hope the ones exposed to the air stay nice and dry.currently i am looking at using a cp + mp soaping style, especially a cream version for piping. Good Luck with your experiments..your videos are amazing and so inspiring.
@Frei_Raum4 жыл бұрын
@@luciesteblovakantorova In which material you wrapped the soap? I'm not sure how it is called in English, but Cellophan or Zellglas, as we call it in Germany, may be the right choice. It prevents the MP from getting wet from the outside and let the dampness (or moisture) from the CP out. But I don't know how it works when CP an MP are together in one soap. Whatever, this soap is wonderful. Thank you for sharing your work with us in such an aesthetic way.

Fantastic soap! What a beauty! Which one of Amanda's recipe did you use for the transparent soap?
@luciesteblovakantorova4 жыл бұрын
Thank You so much! 🌹I made it according Batch 5 😊
@marydhanyalouisa4 жыл бұрын
sorry i had one more quick question. i was thinking of using recipe#5 in the loving soap site and i just realised that it has almost 1:4 as ratio of soap : solvents. (151 grams of soap including oils +lye+lye water) and about 600gms of solvents) if this was the recipe u used...may i ask how quickly this soap gets used up as its mostly solvents
@luciesteblovakantorova4 жыл бұрын
I used this recipe :-). Yes, it is 1:5 (oils: solvents). But honestly, I don't know the answer for Your question. Because this was the first time what I did this. I never have my transparent soap before. Now soap is curing and I will use it in two months :-).

WOW! That is a gorgeous soap!!!! Not bad for a first attempt at both! As both a soap maker and a cake decorator you did a really good job at both! I am curious, was your crock pot hot enough to force gel before adding the glycerin? I couldn't tell from the video.
@luciesteblovakantorova4 жыл бұрын
Thank You so much!!! I am so pleased about Your comment! 🥰 Yes, I tested batter before I was adding glycerin. So I think that crockpot was hot enough 😊.
