PIR Saturday Night Drags 4/20/19 10 Second RS3 Daily Drivers

April 20,2019 Saturday Night Drag Racing: RMan closer to the 9s running a 10.1 with a soft brake to avoid getting kicked out. Paolo also came out his RS3 is APR stage 2 w/ APR high flow cats running full weight on street tires W/E85 mapping. RMans car is also full weight running the Eurocode/SRM hybrid turbo, E85, no cats on Hoosier DR2s. It’s still relatively cool here so once the track temps drop traction becomes an issue.
Our goal is to hit 9s with the RMans car full weight and then we will work on weight reduction (remove rear seat, lightweight battery) Both of the RS3s are daily drivers and the only changes made to go to track were race slicks on the Nardo car and E85 in the tank of the white car.
NHRA rules apply at any public track and those rules are speeds over 134.9MPH require a roll cage and trap times under 10.00 require a roll cage. Since these are daily driven cars we will not be adding cages.
