Beautiful workmanship, love how you complete each section including painting as you go. Something important living in humid parts of the world (Nth Qld for me)

Can you tell me any information about the shocks that you used ? They look like they will do a great job! I am going to start my build of the Piranha 3 shortly .i am going to use a Suzuki TL 1000 engine in mine .

Yes they work really well they are fox 2.0 coil-overs 12" travel with ebaich springs. The main spring is 250 lb and the tender springs are 200 also supplied by downsouth motorsports in USA and i believe he may have valved them to suit as he knows our buggies. Sonny is the guy to talk to

How many hours do you reckon you put into the build? I'm looking at building one - I'm a fitter / welder by trade, but been off the tools for a few years and want to get my hands dirty again..!
@D-DAY4 жыл бұрын
I really don't know I stopped counting at around 80 hours and half way done I'd say at least 100 Maybe 200

Quick question. Did you make any kind of front brakes or just the rear one? Can‘t tell from the pics. Looking to get a similar buggy myself but I‘m afraid of not stopping on time due tononly having one brake.
@D-DAY2 жыл бұрын
Yes it has a caliper on each of the front wheels and a single caliper on the rear.
@tw1st3d352 жыл бұрын
@@D-DAY oh okay. What calipers, shoes and rotors did you use? Special made or something off-shelf? Also how did you mount them? Any way you can give me some pictures?

I'm from Croatia, so I have difficulty ordering things from "the edge products", so I have to build everything myself. I need a little more time but I think I will succeed

Thanks , there are a couple of people that I know of in Brisbane and a fella in cooloola they all get together and race in the short course series and they also do some tarmac event. Me I just fang it in the forest no rules and no one telling me what to do , I hated karting for that reason. Check out qld superlites on face book there is a sick barracuda for sale in wa at the moment with a bussa for 15k
