The la Dura dura movie is still my favourite climbing movie of all time, from the passing of the torch story to the footage of the route itself it’s just brilliant.

Chris is a very humble person and always was. I admire him not only for his achievements in the sport, but also for his positive and calm personality. Climbings success in the last twenty years is not only based on sport achievements but also on characters. And he plays a big role in it.

So true. I lived in BCN for a year and climbed in his gym almost daily, and I never once saw him angry, annoyed, yelling at an employee (unthinkable), without the time to talk to the people... I've seen him have a session on the hangboard, a couple of ppl walk in who've never climbed, they ask him what the point is, and he stops his session and spends 15 minutes to explain it to them. At the gym open doors day, he stands outside and shakes hands with everyone going in. He is a gem. One of the nicest people I've ever met, and not just pretend nice but nice to the core. Not to mention how great the gym is, it remains my favorite bouldering gym in the whole world. And this is because he assembles an amazing crew of setters and really runs it well.

We think similarly I have found a way to heal my Self from a Severe traumatic brain injury from the positive blood flow that rock climbing creates. I haven’t taken prescriptions since 2013. I just use rock climbing, bodybuilding and walks to heal my Self

interesting discipline, wat does he do about his chalk and climbing shoes? as well as obviously drying off himself, these two tings must be pretty annoying to deal with.

I’ve met Hollywood celebrities and nobody has ever left me star struck like meeting Chris at an indoor comp in 2010. I was so nervous and he put me at ease with his super chill demeanor.

Beautiful interview, but if I could give some constructive criticism, I think it would elevate your interview skills, to that next level. You ask great questions. You’re extremely engaged, but you have a very strong tendency to respond and react, as if you are having a conversation with somebody, rather than interview.I think the quality would increase greatly, if you used body language, rather than vocalizing your thoughts, to what he is saying. There is a lot of distraction, with your reactions. Thank you for the great content, nonetheless 🙏

Smoke it, eat it, whatever....I don´t personally like marijuana consumption generally, but it does expose the stupid money and energy wasting of prohibition
