A reminder the only unique property that pirate does not have is a deflect. They have unblockables, undodgeables, damaging bashes, and hyper armor. Technically a range attack too.

As much as I like the pirate hero, the one thing I don't like is the infinite ammo flintlock. Then I thought, what if they make a reload move, like JiangJun and Nobushi's dodge, but you can't stay in it and it's purpose is to reload and if you want to you can go in the grab. And to balance things out the pistol blast does more damage considering you can do it once a combo.
