@@justsomeberd7407 there are no verified accounts of blackbeard actually killing anyone, he would board them, seize all their valuables, food, liquor, and weapons, and then let them go. He relied on charisma and intelligence. So he wouldn't work as a character not because he killed so many, but because him killing anyone wouldn't be accurate to the character

With pirate, the devs showed us the level of manipulation they have achieved by putting out a usual broken pay to win hero, but dressed as a very well balanced one, they amaze me I am rep 5 pirate by the way

@@bruhbroham8760 Can dodge cancel any attack, has hyper armour, has shit-ton of unblockable attacks which track really fucking good, feats that combo into normal attacks, feats that in my opinion are way too powerful for that small of a cool down, guaranteed bashes, bashes that can wallsplat. Basically the pirate has way too much shit especially compared to some other heroes and it makes it a pain in the ass to fight. Not to mention two pirates can combo you from 100% hp to 0 without even giving you revenge. My guess? Gonna get nerfed in a month or two just like Gryphon (even though Gryphon wasn't even that busted, only needed a few tweaks instead of what they have done to him) Conclusion? Fuck pirate.

@@bruhbroham8760 where should I start, her dodge recoveries are the best in the game since orochi got nerfed his bash and zanhu has been given a new middle finger with this hero while his poor clunky dodge recovery still can't punish pirate dodge attacks consistently. Add this to the fact that her dodge attack is fast and has probably the most I frames I have seen (this is mostly an invincibility button, see zanhu for example, if you try to dodge attack his UB light, you ll be hit if he throw a heavy UB, but not pirate) And this is in fact the best dodge attack in the game, heavy parry, that lead to either a stun with the pistol in gank or a hyperarmor heavy like kensei, to punish someone who would dodge attack you if you feel lazy to just dodge attack on the dodge attack that was punishing your dodge attack in the first place. She have on demand orange move soft feintable to gb like raider, but it is armored and again, can stunlock you for a sec Her missed bash don't confirm anything. In fact it just make you being punished. I don't see much pirate using it yet because they are probably not used to it but I can consistently punish people on reaction for dodge attacking me (when they do because this shit is fast) or do nothing to avoid the gb. But it's not so much in 1v1 that all this comes to be a problem, it's in teamfight. Any gank implying a pirate is a pain in the ass because she can dodge out of everything you try if you lock onto her, leading to stunlock that allow her teammates to finish you, and if you let her on your side she can put raider like pressure on you, exept that raider does not pin you in place for 1 sec allowing your teammates to get free heavies. The funniest part is that her stunlock work mostly as revenge goes like kyoshin shield counter, so two pirates that know what they are doing can litteraly deny you your revenge by making you spending it stunlocked. This is funny to do, but this is bullshit to live. This hero is not broken like gryphon dodge attack that could simply negate charged bashes mixups, but she way, wayy to effective in teamfight and anybody thinking otherwise, looking at his lovely scoreboard with infinite kills and points, is delusionnal. A good pirate gank is, so far, unstoppable, and frustrating because she just prevent you from playing and does not require any skills to do so, that's the worst part. 100 to 0 already existed, but with pirate it has become so casual that any moron picking up the character can achieve it on his first games (I happened to do this for the first time by mistake in my 5 first matchs with her after release) Those kind of mechanics may be fun things to do for competitive play, but this has nothing to do in casual play. People play this game to have fun, use the few free time they have to acutally play, but pirate in teamfight prevent you to play the game. It's like having someone having his hands on your eyes and laughing while doing it, or trying to take away your mouse. I like the new hero, I like playing her, I like her kit, but in teamfight especially, she is completely busted man.
