@@K4man84 Taro Patch tuning is open G tuning and this tune is pretty easy to play. I don’t read or write music for guitar. I listen and figure things out. I heard that Joni Mitchell showed Jimmy Buffett this tuning (DGDGBD) and then Jimmy Buffett wrote this song. Jimmy Buffett is a great lyricist too so his songs are really good. I don’t sing all that well and Chet Atkins solo guitar playing was a big inspiration to me. Chet rarely sang. Thanks for listening. I saw Jimmy Buffett twice live and was shocked at his passing. I was hoping to see him again when I heard the news of his passing. Taro Patch (open G) tuning is a popular tuning in Hawaiian slack key. I’m a fan of slack key. Two my favorite are Led Kaapana and Makana. Slack key uses plenty of other tunings but I think Taro Patch is the most often used one.
