[4K] Splash Landings Hotel Pirate Room Tour, join us for a walkthrough of the Alton Towers Splash Landings Hotel Pirate Room
The Splash Landings Hotel opened in 2003 with a Caribbean theme connected to the Alton Towers Waterpark. The rooms are decorated in a quirky English style with pictures of Sir Algenon's inventions. The hotel is four-star and has 216 rooms with six-room types to choose from consisting of Family of 4 'Beachcomber' room, Family of 6 'Beachcomber' room, The Ice Age Room, The Pirate Room, Interconnected Family of 4 'Beachcomber' room and, Interconnected Family of 3 'Beachcomber' Room.
The Pirate Room room consists of a double bed, a bunk bed, a sofa bed an ironing board, a fridge, tea and coffee-making facilities, a table, a desk that contains the hair dryer in the drawer, a TV with PlayStation 4, plenty of Pirate pictures, cannonballs, cutlasses, and a Treasure Hunt to open the chest located in the room. The room is of course very pirate-themed and makes you feel like you are on board a pirate ship. The treasure chest however was empty, as the treasure was actually placed in the fridge in the room. This was due to it melting in the hot weather we were told. The hotel package includes an overnight stay, a full buffet breakfast, evening entertainment, free parking, and free wifi. The Waterpark is extra and costs over £80 for a family of 5.
Alton Towers also has two other Hotels, the Alton Towers Hotel which opened in 1996, and the CBeebies Land Hotel which opened in 2017. There is also an Enchanted Village which opened in 2015 with Woodland Lodges and Luxury Treehouses and Stargazing Pods opened in 2019.
Alton Towers Resort is a world-renowned theme park and resort located in the heart of Staffordshire, England. With over 40 rides and attractions, including 10 thrilling roller coasters, Alton Towers offers something for everyone, from families with young children to adrenaline-seeking thrill-seekers.
The park is situated on a sprawling estate that spans over 800 acres and is home to a variety of themed areas, including Forbidden Valley, X-Sector, CBeebies Land, and the iconic Towers Street. Each area is uniquely designed and offers its own set of attractions and experiences.
One of the most popular attractions at Alton Towers is the Wicker Man roller coaster, which opened in 2018 and is the UK's first wooden roller coaster to be built in over 20 years. The coaster is themed after the ancient pagan tradition of the Wicker Man and features special effects, fire, and a heart-pumping ride experience.
