I was told the holiday started because the nobility/rich people who could afford lavish Christmas feasts would give all their servants boxes of leftovers and gave most a day off the day after Christmas. Other potential explanations include that since the alms box at churches filled up more on Christmas, churches gave out a large portion of it as charity work the next day, or that it was a trade holiday where employers and clients would give large bonuses/gifts to employees and tradespeople in boxes.

Broly would have been pre-Cell Games, but fair, he would be in an iceberg somewhere either way. That said, Cooler wasn't said to be the latest. If anything, I wouldn't be surprised if, beyond Bojack, we see the Androids(16 got to go to Heaven so the rest are probably in Hell. Gero is definitely around somewhere but unknown where specifically), Garlic Jr's minions(the man himself is forever trapped in the ~~Dead Zone~~ !@#$box, unable to ever escape or die), Kochin(not Wheelo tho), Turles and co, Lord Slug and co, Cooler's Armored Squadron(sorry Salza, you don't get to meet cousin Jeice in Space Hell yet), and..._maybe_ evil Santa? It doesn't really work within the timeline but I mean rule of funny. Paragus might be here but I wouldn't expect Bardock. That guy woulda gone straight to the soul scrubber since HFIL didn't exist yet.

At first, the way Cold was acting I thought he just wanted to either help Freeza or get him involved in his possible secret scheme, but now in this episode with Cooler here we see how he plays them both to get them angry and use them; Cooler hates having to do stuff for his dad because he's a free thinker, while Freeza is just like his dad so he wants to the attention as seen by how mad he was getting in earlier episodes with how Cold interacted with Cell, so Cold gives Cooler stuff to do because he doesn't want the attention and then refuse Freeza when he offers to do it because he does want the attention. Also, Freeza's reaction when he realizes Cell killed both Goku and Future Trunks, was priceless he did what Freeza couldn't. Also, also, Bojack and the Ginyu were the highlights for comedy this time around. :) Now the only question is in the next episode who will Cell and Raditz meet up with in the other HFIL, I'm pretty sure Cooler and Bojack henchmen will be there, but we might get other movie and lesser-known villains too.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but I suspect a big reason that Raditz wants to go to the other HIFL, is to find Bardock. I mean, he has a picture of Bardock in his room during a previous episode, and I remember Raditz looking approvingly at Cell when the latter mentioned his father was a brilliant scientist during the first sharing circle we see. So it's highly likely that he wants to meet his father. Although that would come with it's own issue of Bardock having potentially unlocked Super Sayian, if they're including the Episode of Bardock, and thus making Raditz the only male member of his family that didn't unlock the transformation, possibly making Bardock show even more disappointment with his son. Plus, Cell and Bardock getting along whilst Raditz is kinda left out would very much feel like something Team Fourstar would consider, since Bardock isn't the greatest at being a dad and Cell might actually earn Bardock's respect for having made Freeza feel lesser in some ways. I would love to see what Team Fourstar come up with next and of course, I can't wait for Airier to review more, as his humour and commentary are both funny and informative.

0:03, That line is from 300, spoken by Gerald Butler’s character Leonidas and is also the name of the soundtrack used for the scene he says that line. But funnily enough, that soundtrack was also used in TFS abridged Cooler movie when Goku goes Super Saiyan and tells the bird (which he calls Toriyama after the series’ creator) he heals to “teach a dinosaur to ride a ball”. And now, a spin on that line and soundtrack title is being used in this spinoff’s episode where we are properly reintroduced to Cooler.

Suddenly realizing that within the DBZA lore, pretty much all father figures are messed up in their own way. Goku, not a evil father, just bad at being one. King Cold, we see in this episode. Doctor Briefs, not touching that one. Vegeta, a complete tragedy of fatherhood. Guru... maybe not a father in the traditional, but he was a sort of father figure towards his people... a genocidal father figure. Perfect Cell, he certainly didn't seem all that bothered with Gohan destroying his kids. Doctor Gero... okay the guy is evil, but apparently loved his son enough to dedicate his life towards murdering the killer of his son.
