Notice how they all went out roughly the same way they were beaten in the series: Recoome- a hit to the gut Zarbon- insides "rearanged" Raditz- a blast to the chest Dodoria- hit in the face with a "blast" Guldo- a hit from behind at his head Frieza- hit with his own attack Cell- got hit, came back, then went down for real PS: I also love how they properly showed the differences between Cell and Frieza's brand of evil Frieza is the short term evil, the kind that will snap at anyone over the tiniest threat to their ego Meanwhile Cell plays the long game. He COULD expose Frieza for dying to Vegeta's son , not even Vegeta himself. But, ultimately, what would that get him? Proof of of something he alredy knows,that he's the biggest villain in the room? To diagrace someone in what is alredy Hell? Nah, instead, Cell decided to play ball and suck it up till he can get out of HFIL the long , but sure way

Z Future Trunk and Present Z are essentially 2 different characters with drastically different histories. GT Trunks is Present Z Trunks is not weak as is quite competent. If not for him the black star dragon ball search would had been drastically different. Dbs Future Trunks is also a different Trunks as well with an alternative history as well.

Yet he comes from a time line where a different Future Trunks already interfered but didn't know of Cell. Also we know the original unaltered time didn't have a Future Trunks show up to kill Freeza. Need I remind you time travel in Z is linear unlike DBS that claims it's cyclical. That's how they Toei writing staff wrote it to be. Since they made it up as it went along. Now an alternative time is essential another universe. And these alternate universe themselves have a multiverse within them as well. Super Future Trunks differes in what he knows compared to Z Future Trunks. He's from an off shoot of universe 10 where zamazu got Goku black body from. The Time line in Super claim their in universe 7. It's a steaming complicated mess so it's easy to write it off as a different future Trunks. Because it will wreck your brain trying to unravel the mess of multiverses and alternate parallel universes on top of that.

If Zamazu's arrival does cause a branch, then the Trunks that creates to the Super universe branch would be a different version, though with a past that was identical until that moment, if there was no branch then the Trunks that creates Super would still be the final Z Trunks. I'm not sure what you mean about cyclic claims, but yes, DB time has always been linear; do you mean that the 2 types of Kia rings can only go back and forth to the futures, so as to not cause branches.
