Pirate101 Sinbad Part 3: Wheels within Wheels (Buccaneer, No Commentary)

A semi-blind playthrough of the newest Sinbad part on my Buccaneer. Really not a fan of this, if it weren`t for the story progression and companion dialogue after so many years than I don`t think I would`ve done this at all. The I recorded said I started around 4:00 and was done at 6:59, wonderful.
As soon as I got to Wheeler`s Lair that`s when it dipped for me (what genius thought it was a good idea to have defeat blank number of golems). Had to buy a henchman for the last fight, something I`ve NEVER had to do in this game ever.
-4 battles with the Kurghas
-2 battles for the Blue Herrings
-3 for the Rude Mechanicals
-4 battles for the Swash golems
-1 attempt for Klaw
-2 for the Herring Mastermind
-1 for Bran
It`s like tying your balls onto milk jugs, you`ve got to be a masochist or something to like this smh. I get that the higher the levels go the higher the difficultly will be but I feel like we`ve just skipped in terms of what enemies and bosses are allowed to have for epics/powers.
In short: Not a fan of what`s being taken with "endgame" difficultly (if the potential level cap increase is true then it won`t be the "endgame" anymore)

EDIT 10/12/23 Pleasant surprise seeing this gain a lot of views in short time. Almost to 500 views and currently at 18 likes.

honestly, thank god this game is getting revived, I always liked it so much, even more than wiz and thats what I mainly play now. I only stopped playing pirate because it wasn't getting any updates.

The difficulty was a nightmare especially the Marleybone part i somehow managed to solo it on swashbuckler but with most companions being injured and few having to wake up they need to get rid of miracle Mitch or at least lower the bed rest time I hope they will tone the difficulty down or at least buff all companions but it nice that we’re getting more story content now.

Ditto, it was just constant waking up injured companions since Mitch is expensive as hell even for just 1 injury. These enemies and bosses feel more advanced than their actual level, like 80-85 not 70. I am glad that were now actually making progress with the story and we got to hear our companions speak after a huge gap in time.

I'm glad for the difficulty increase the game has been far to easy up until aquilla. But yes they need to get rid of the ingury system

You said it. I remember how it used to be years ago, anytime I lost and the characters were down it would be fully recovery and health with either a life fountain or a blue yum potion and everyone could recover in an instant. I like a challenge as much as the next causual gamer, but at the latestest chapters I felt outgunned and outmatched in the current level systems and epic attacks

I like that it seems like they'll try to continue the El Dorado storyline but this dialogue sound like ai it just doesn't sound right.

It`s just been a while since these actors did their characters again so voices sound a bit off but I know what you mean. Though I think Toro and Scratch don`t sound too different than normal.

I'm glad they're doing something with this game, even if I'm confused what their intentions are considering how drastic of a direction this is taking compared to the original story. But I can't help but feel like there's a lack of passion put into this? We're seeing the same designs and the same locations as before, and what things are new don't even work most of the time. We aren't getting any sort of power boost aside from a couple new companions, but the enemies have gotten ridiculously harder. The epic balancing is all over the place for said enemies; why do minions get far more epics than the bosses, and why do they feel the need to give every Musketeer enemy tons of bomb powers? Getting new content is great, but it's hard to be excited for a nostalgic game getting updates when so many decisions seem rushed and unthought-out.

It went from "a new world is years away" in late April of last year to no new worlds currently, cause making one costs more than Wizard. There`s also the potential of increasing the level cap and giving companion promos for it, something much needed. Agreed with the level of enemy difficulty, keep in mind that these are level 70. Like can you imagine how level 75+ enemies are gonna be? You can dungeon recall but no team up for this or Sinbad parts 1 and 2. Also yes, lots of bugs even though there`s still bugs still in the game that haven't been fixed like the dialogue glitch in the Presidio companions 3rd promo. You`re better off just emailing KI support to help you. Be sure to include the name of the quest that isn't triggering; it should be easy to find on the wiki. Let them know what part is not working and you`ll probably get a response back to fix your issue in a couple of business days.

As of right now, I`m pretty sure the Sinbad quests don`t cost any crowns you just need the area it takes place in. All areas in total cost 94,710 crowns but I relied on using Kingisle quizzes to get 100 crowns a day.

I think so? The in-game explanation is a cold so I don`t know if it`ll sound more like the old VA for the next part.
