I’m sorry but why are Carina and Elizabeth the ones captured? I mean did you watch the previous movies? Taking the most interesting/complex characters and sticking them in a box while the passive ‘likeable’ boring men play the rescue game? Also why would Calypso need to send a ship after them, when she’s you know, the entire ocean, she could just capsize the boat… I feel like the women in this story have been totally sidelined and turned into plot pieces rather than being genuine characters contributing to the story. And an ancient mystical compass? Bland and improbable. It’s most likely they will do a story about a Sparrow offspring, filled to the brim with Easter eggs and honourable mentions to the original movies.
