Makes me nostalgic, I used to play French horn in a great high school wind ensemble, we won competitions, made recordings... it's thrilling to hear this kind of thing again, even if it's not me playing... proud of those young people for giving it the kind of attention it deserves!

This is a fantastic community band! Great dynamics, phrasing, etc. The community band I play in also did this piece recently. I'd like to think we sounded this good! It's not an easy piece to play.

It's silly because I'd love to play this, on any instrument (I played trombone in band so probably a version for that instrument) but I doubt I could because I get shivers just listening to this, and most other orchestral scores (Star Wars, LotR, etc.). Just purely epic, in the literal definition of the word.

I finally took the time to look through the musicians and I see people in their teens through people who could've died from old age right there on stage. My gosh this is amazing how 3-4 generations can come together in one band and make such awesome music. (I meant no offense by that "old age" comment)
