It is simply brilliant. What a pleasure to hear this duo's mellifluous voices. Grateful thanks to their parents to channel them in the right field. We the listeners are the beneficiaries.

What a beautiful neraval. Raagam is lalithangi. Comes in full melakartha of Sankarabharanam. It also has the shadows of simmendra madyamam, hemavathi and shanmugapriya

The grace of Lathangi is so well presented as swaras flow like the gushing waters of a flowing stream striking rocks, pebbles and stones!

yendhai in tamil is, o my father let me merge at your feet. yendhai is YEN plus THANDHAI. Thandhai means father. Many artists commit mistake here. you people sing as "yenthaai un paathaara vindham thunai saerum..." Meaning is changed. the poet describes shiva as father, asks to a father to get liberation. you sing...yen thaai meaning, by which, "my mother to get liberation at your feet." please sing without changing the essence of Tamil poetry towards shiva.

Thank you, this is very informative. But I think endhāi would not change the meaning. Since thandhai is father, can't its vocative case be thandhāi, similar to piḷḷai - piḷḷāi, kuzhandhai - kuzhandhāi etc. Similar in meaning to piḷḷaiyē, kuzhandhaiyē. Therefore addressing one's Father (Śivan) could take the form of en thandhāi = endhāi.

Grant me liberation from this cycle of birth and death Oh Lord
yendhai un paathaara vindham thunai saera... " oh my father, let me get merger at your feet" what a nice song...beautifully sung but please correct that word ,pronounce as yendhai. " dha". not " tha".

Awesome rendition. Unfortunately its not "munnam" vinai but "mundhai" vinai. But then even the good lord is with flaws.

In Pallavi, they should include MARUPADI PIRANDALUM, UN THIRUVADI. MARUPADI AND UN. THEN ONLY IT GIVES THE TRUE MEANING IF THIS LYRIC. IT HAS BECOME HABIT OF PRESENG GENERATION ARTISTS TO ADJUST THE LYRICS TO THEIR CONVENIENCE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF IGNORANCE OF AUDIENCE OF THE SONG AND LYRIC, AS MOST ATTEND ONLY TO BE PRESENT FOR VIDEO COVERAGE. ARTIST PLEASE GIVE RESPECT TO LYRIST. THEY DONT EXPECT ANY MONETARY BENEFITS FROM YOU. BUT THEY DON'T WANT TO SACRILEGE THEIR DEVOTION TO THE ALMIGHTY.
