I love how you properly explain each exercise, what purpose it serves and how it should feel.

Thank you! I believe its not THE exercise, but HOW you do it

It's not usually a strength issue. In my experience it is usually a coordination issue. You can know this, because most students who fall out of pirouettes are not experiencing muscle fatigue at the time they fall out. One you've learned to hit that balance, be on your leg, and hold the position, the usual next issue is the spotting head. Because the head has to move relative to the rest of the body in order to spot, it can migrate outside the center of balance quite easily.

How many sets/reps would you recommend for each exercise?
@AlignFitnessByAllie7 ай бұрын
I would try for 10-15 of each. Nothing should ever cause pain, and it is always good form over quantity:)

Whyyyyy has nobody told me this about the standing leg in pirouettes before?

Are you trained in p.t.? Cause these are very similar to what my therapist gave me for upper and lower back support for arthritis :)

I am very lucky to continue to train and learn from amazing pts and doctors. I am not a pt though:)
