There are loads of footpath crossings given random numbers, even though there are not that exact number of the crossings with the same name. There's a few in Dorset, Woodsford No37 and Woodsford No38 are one example, even though those are the only two crossings in Woodsford.

network rail: we need to make use of all this tax money. *scans for any unnesasary inprovements* network rail: oh yes lets build a foot crossing with absolutely no warning of trains (exept the nearby crossing which is quiet) and we will build it right next to an existing one, drivers definately wouldnt think people are tresspassing although it wont look like a crossing from a distance.
