I went on the healing journey and let me tell you……. It may start because of them but it ends with you. Did you know there is about 1 out of every 6 people that are actually Narcissists. 1 out of 10 are extremely high on the NPD spectrum. Once you do your healing it’s lonely, you lose people you never thought you would, and it’s painful, BUT all the lies, fake people, people we let in because of our own trauma STOPS. YOU STOP HURTING YOURSELF, and start seeing every sickness that you thought you could heal as the very thing that causes us to hurt ourselves because they’re so self centered/entitled and start going the other direction! You stop letting everyone put everything on you AND then justifying their horrible behavior! You don’t turn cold, you get over being angry, and just start loving yourself enough to realize…….”hey, it’s not me”…..”I gave it everything”….. “I still will give everything, but only to the ones who are giving back”. You’re loved lady, you’re amazing, and you deserve what you give and nothing less. Sometimes I hug myself when I feel down…….try it. Wrap your arms around yourself and squeeze…..tell yourself the truth……that you’re good cause you were there and did everything you could. They put everything on you and did nothing to make it better. I'm fed up with my sister. We're in our 60's & have always for many years spoken on the phone at least 4 times a week. Maybe more. We've always made a promise that when mom's time came, she'd fly in from LV to NJ where we'll support each other, clear out her house of 52 years, purchase casket etc...I stayed with my mom for the last 3 years taking care of her. I'm not blowing my own horn, I'm trying to paint the picture. 7/9/23 I called her to tell her of mom's passing. Without any emotion in her voice, she said, "I can't afford to come down." WAIT! WHAT? WTH! She continues (as my mouth hung open), "But I have faith in you. I know you can handle it." 🤦🏻‍♀️ She didn’t ask to borrower $ from me or from the proceeds of the house!" Nothing! So I handled it. Great picture of me alone standing by her casket. It took me a year to clear out her house, pay off her bills & do all the paperwork that goes along with all of it. And I'm no spring chicken & my mother hoarded more than I was aware of. It'll be a year 7/9/24 that she hasn't called or texted. Mom's house finally sold. I know for a fact my sister's been following Zillow & will see it says UNDER CONTRACT because she's 💰 hungry. I'll bet the farm on it & her ½ of the proceeds (that will no longer be ½) that my phone will ring off the hook because the reality of it is that all my mom was to her was her cash cow. I'm SO hurt by this & the stress of it all was horrific! So Ali, I'm done!

Yeah this definitely RESONATED with me especially when I say I AM DONE! I just have this strong feeling that this man that I dealt with from last year ago who wasn’t my boyfriend nor we couldn’t be together due to his commitment with someone else and him dealing with a 3rd party too.
