What was learned from this video: First and foremost, I didn’t complain or find a reason to complain about a single thing on these two reels. The 2000 and 3000 both are of the same quality. I even mention that the Lews Lazor Speedstick and the Piscifun 2000 are a very nice combo. For the price, the bearing quantity, and functionality, the Flame series is a great way to get a good reel at a low price. Stay tuned for the review of the Flame 500 and the Torrent spinning rod spring 2022. 😉🎣

How’s it going Brother! We’ve actually had some nasty rain here for a couple days. Literally raised the lakes a foot or more. Yards are a mess and leaves everywhere. I did however get asked by a friend and subscriber if I would do a “what do I use” video, if you second that, I’ll do one and have it out tomorrow. I just don’t wanna bore people and make videos just for the sake of making them, if you know what I mean. Thanks for asking!

What size and power rod for the 2000?
@TheGraytOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Hey there, it’s on a 5’ 6” Lew’s HS Laser Speed Stick Ultra-lite fast action 2-6lb lure weight 1/32-1/8 oz. rod. Purchased at Wal-mart $29. It’ll most likely get shuffled around to other rods, possibly a 6’ or 6’6” medium light in the near future. Thanks for asking😉👍🏻

@@TheGraytOutdoors How have they held up over time? I'm debating on getting a 2000 series for a 6'6 okuma celilo.

Well, I can’t say that they get used “constantly” but they do get used often and to this point I haven’t had an issue. They’ve brought in some pretty good size fish. I actually got into a large catfish that I’m guessing would’ve been in the 17 to 20lb range on the Flame 3000 while night crawler fishing for bass. I almost got my hands on him but the line broke (was only 8lb extra-tough Trilene) but to that point, the reel didn’t have a problem getting him in. They aren’t expensive reels so you can’t expect them to last forever but for $25, so far, they’re doing well. The Viper ll is also another put out by their company. More expensive (around $40) but works well…. So far. Lol. 🤞🏻🤞🏻
