Pistelle x-68 hpa test and tech talk

Well I own a few PCP airguns, pump air rifles, break barrel pellet guns and full and semi auto CO2, air guns along with one LL HDR 50 11 joule version. I just ordered the Pistelle and I believe it works on the same principle as the PCP guns, there's 2 seperate chambers, one that holds the reserve high pressure air and then another that holds a certain amount that will be the one to discharge the projectile when the hammer hits the firing pin that opens the valve to release that certain amount of air in that chamber. I'm no expert or gun smith but this is my assumption on how these operate, when the CO2 cannister is punctured it fills up that seperate air chamber that holds a certain amount of pressure and this will be the air that's released when the firing pin opens the valve that will send the projectile, that's why you have left over air even when the CO2 chamber is empty, and why you'll only get an average of 35-50 joules, depending on the weight of the projectile. You need to expand the chamber in order to hold more air for more pressure release to eject the ammo. Tell me if I'm wrong.

Awesome man :) and the reason i made the groups and yt channel is cuz no one believed i got 45 joules with an hdr50 or any umarex like 4 years ago, then 62 and kept going higher and higher now its shooting near 150 joules with no issues still. i know what you mean, highest numbers i seen to date was your FSC

That can't be accurate. The Grimburg Gavyle only hits 40 joules with 16 gram Co2. 150 joules my ass! That is lethal then. At that speed it will enter your body.

​@Thegreatmidwest1 all depends on hit location as to lethality, 40j FN 303 projectiles can be lethal with a side of temple hit. Big thing to remember is ME and what goes out downrange is a significant difference. The drop off in velocity over range is significant past 20ft. You aren't going to see significant penetration of the body at 150j with a 68 cal kinetic. Like the 8.9g gimburg. The 'Wasp' Russian kinetic is in the 80 to 100j range (uses annelectrically detonated primer as the launch cartridge) and that's only lethal at contact/1 to 2ft distance to the temple. All of these things are 'LESS LETHAL' not NONE lethal. Also cartridge size doesn't change what a marker is capable of, 800psi is 800psi. The only difference you'll see is shit numbers. Doesn't matter if it's a co2 cart or co2 tank.onky difference is a tank regulated will be consistent shot to shot rather than dropping every shot. Hpa being 850 or 1000 depending on tank allows you to go higher with the right valve setup and expansion chamber obviously. Though co2 is far more affected by temperature. There are setups in mil and police use in the 110 to 150 joule range and court precedent they are less lethal.

Hi. If that is true(150 joules), could you please show it in a video ? You see, maybe in the US this doesn't mean a lot, but here in South America having this air guns be able to perform at this capacity literally allows good citizens to be able to defend themselves from crime related people. Using real guns (for self-defense) here is really complicated, so this is quite literally a game changer for us. Very nice video. Hope to see more about it.

GRIMBURG JUL LESS LETHAL PROJECTILES - 68 CALIBER 8 GRAMS are those the rounds that you are using? I’m not sure I spoke with you and you suggested I get Jules, but I can’t find anything called Jules except those and I wanted to make sure those are the correct ones before I spend even more money on a bunch of, kinetic grounds

@@RandySpear you don’t use lubrication on a quick pierce there’s no O-ring where it pierces that’s only for FSC mags connecting with a flat O-ring
