I agree. If you can't pass this, you shouldn't be allowed to even CARRY a gun. This is one of the easiest qualifiers, or standards that I've ever seen. If you have "most" of your fingers, and at least "one" eye, this shouldn't be a problem to pass. lol

North carolina I just had to shoot day and night 3 5 10 15 and 25 yards prone on stomach so it was a little tougher but at night time shooting we had to just shoot at 15 yards furthest and not laying down

I would highly recommend NOT holstering appendix carry from the kneeling position! That pelvic girdle contains not only your junk but also your femoral artery. If you put a hole in that, you'd better have someone nearby who can pack a wound and apply pressure fast! The most common circumstances for a negligent discharge is in the unholstering or reholstering of your firearm. I'm not trying to be a jerk, I just don't want you to get hurt or worse. I know your finger is off the trigger and you have probably done it thousands of times, but being distracted by demonstrating for the video took your mind off of where your gun was pointed. Just trying to help out. We've all made mistakes. Good video.

It's pretty interesting that the BP firearms qual is very similar to the private security qual . BP course is more rounds shorter times and a little bit farther distance .

I totally understand wanting to keep the shots on bull, but dont you want to hit different areas of the body to cause the most stopping damage?

This test has nothing to do with tactics. It’s simply to test if you have the skills and ability to put rounds where you intend to place them. If you can’t hit inside the 7 ring, there’s no point teaching you to hit the heart box.

Jamie Sloan you would be surprised. Bad guys don’t want to be shot just as much as you don’t. So they aren’t going to stand still. You’re trained to shoot center mass because it presents the biggest target which decreases you’r chances of missing.

It is a C Squared holster. I don't know what model it is or how you can order one though. I got it second hand and when I've tried to work with the guy who makes it, I don't get much info.
