Great video. Reference the 19 zeroed slide on the g45 lower-for me it did change the zero slightly. If I remember correctly, I shot just a tad lower. Not positive about that, but it was a noticeable difference. Using logic, I assumed it would not because the 45 lower is longer than the 19 lower, that should be the only difference. (I zero at 12 yards). I believe the backstrap on the 45 is contoured slightly different, maybe that is the reason. Your hand size may make some difference as well, as it will obviously change your grip ever so slightly.

I’m a little annoyed because I followed this video to a T. I mounted a Holosun EPS on a C & H plate on my Glock 45 MOS. I noticed my Zero was way off when I was at work the other day. I noticed that the red dot was shifting slightly side to side. I looked it up and found the recommended inch pounds to be 15-18. I set mine to 18 which seems to have fixed the issue, but now those witness marks I first made are off 🙄

Gotta do your own research my friend. The inch lbs I chose was the recommendation at the time of the video. Never had a ship on my G19 👍🏼 it’s my daily driver

How do i know what screws to use to mount the optic? I got four different bags of screws with this plate. Or will my HOLOSUN HE508T X2 comes with its own screws. I have not gotten that yet.

@@alanW10 it was trial and error for me but I matched up the threads can came stock with the optic.

On the website, when you select your mount, it provides the information you need. However, the layout is confusing and does not flow well, making it difficult to find. But the information is available. What Plate did you order? Most likely, the bag labeled (4-40x .280) is for the 508T. Torque the optic to the plate with about 12-15 inch-pounds and you should be okay.

@@Stevee1505 Ya, I totally did not see it. I bought the optic from Amazon but did look on the Holosun site first. It in fact was the bag labeled 4-40x .280. I did try a different one first, but this one was it. Thanks for the reply.

Nice 👍 witness marks, So.. just got the Holosun *EPS full size*,(lower than the 509T enclosed emitter) the plate that comes with it doesn't fit the correct length of the MOS (RMR to "k"series). I've watched your videos and others, DPP adapter plate titanium, does have the mechined slide filler on each end of the plate with the mechined threaded post screw holes , the EPS fits snuggly within the molded filler ends , RMR to "k" series. Found on Amazon, Question, EPS full size and EPS carry both use the same "k" series foot print ? The plate provided in the Holosun EPS full size doesn't even fit the MOS cut, it's too short and has no filler on the end of the plate just a Void. The DPP titanium adapter plate will be here soon ( the plate that comes with the EPS is either wrong or for the HS507K sight completely different sight longer body foot print). I'll tell you later about the fit , thanks Buddy 🤠

Does your C&H plate have a tiny bit of gap on the rear end by the rear sight? I think I see it @ 9:37, but just wanted to double check. Just wanted to know if that's a QC issue or if it is just by design. Anyone, let me know.

Many plates have a small gap, while others do not. Even the Forward Controls plate has this same small gap. However, it won’t affect reliability because the plate is securely attached to the slide. Additionally, the design of the plate helps to minimize energy transfer to the optic, unlike the stock MOS plates. I’m 9K rounds in no issue.
