Great review of an intuitive product! I've been looking for a simple solution to keep my little ones safe, along with firearm safety education, for a while. I didn't even know the StopBox existed. It seems like a smart solution for those that want a little security or discreteness without going with a (sometimes unreliable, and usually really expensive) biometric safe.

Appreciate your comments on storage and security for your guns. I wish everyone shared your view on gun safety, especially around children. I spoke with someone recently who proudly told me there was a loaded handgun left on his family coffee table when he was 10 years old. I was horrified, no matter where you are on the political fence I think reasonable people want gun safety.

this is not a subsitute for havign the gun safety talks with your children and longterm storage. its is basically a retention device.

This isn't secure at all, it takes less then 5 seconds to open.. Lockpicking lawyer does just that.
