It is a shame, with old this Bad Boys repeated chanting, it's been lost on how good the Pistons were beyond the brutal defense. Dumars and Thomas both could play the point position, Edwards, Lambeer, Salley, Rodman, and Mahorn all had game inside. The bench was four men deep, so they could always have fresh legs to run your a** off late in the game. Chuck Daily collected a unique squad and sold them on a set of tactics that should have won them three straight NBA titles.
