Cooking a brisket hot and fast like this usually turns out terrible. Or at least not as good as doing a low and slow cook

I wanted to ask my brother, I’m debating buying the pit barrel, but I’ve been at a crossroads, many say they hang their meat without any drying issues, and others say their meat dried out by hanging briskets and ribs in the pit barrel? This looks amazing tho! 💪🏽🙌🏽
@chucksflavortrain2 жыл бұрын
I've been using my pit for 4 years and haven't ever dried my meat out. One common issue I do see though, is people overcooking their meats or cooking at too high of a temp. The pit is a rib machine! I'd say one out of every four teams is hanging their ribs at competitions.
@puertoropelu22572 жыл бұрын
@@chucksflavortrain Man U answered my question then! Cause I’ve always wrapped my ribs with some butter and juice, and always had good results, but I’ve mainly done that for the fear of drying out I guess, but after I seen that brisket u made and other videos you’ve done, off your judgement I’m going pit cooker for sure, and u def got a new subscriber as well! 💪🏽🔥
