I have a pitbike, My first one. I am unsure if it needs oil, The stick is only wet at the tip. Any pointers on what to get, Im running a 125cc lifan chinese 4stroke pitbike

If the bike is not starting after you changed the ignition and the ignition coil may I or may I not need an oil change???

No when you have put the oil an check it and it’s ready. You need too Seattle it and wait 10-15 minutes because after it can be lower because it’s Seattle in to the engine so put a little bit more oil in it 😉 and remember to warm it up before oil change your bike going to hold longer time

You also need to clean the bolt on the bottom of oil to avoid dirt sticking to it

01:44 DO NOT REMOWE THIS SCREW. its the cam chain tensioner. im about to teardown the engine, to find the rubber tip of the tensioner that fell of. OMFG!!!!

Another one that cant get it right, DO NOT screw in the oil cap to get a reading, correct reading of oil level is with the bike standup straight, not on side stand and but resting the dipstick on top of the thread, dont screw it in to get a reading!!!

The thing I just want a plain answer too is when the bike comes in the crate do u run it at all with that oil in the engine or just drop it straight away I want to know if the oil they put in is the oil that should be used to run it in for a few rides or is it best to get rid of it n put some quality stuff in straight away answers please???

I ran my bike with it for about 5 hours and found no problems. Dropping it now.

Depends where u bought it I'd drop the factory oil first as it's usually trash and only there really for transport and break in
