This is matked down to $557, how do you like it? I was thinking about getting it and posted it on a couple different forums for grilling i am in and 60% said it was garbage. I personally love the way it looks and the diversity. You love it still? Or would you suggest passing it by?

@@Zoo-jc2kw I got mine used and it was only a little rusty … used it twice and went to fix the old smoker with a new door and element from the previous owner and couldn’t get 2 screws out, while doing so I realized how cheaply made it actually was and I haven’t used it since because it just turned me away from it… I knew you paid for the name a good bit… but in my opinion it’s a hard pass

Just picked mines up today. It's a little different compared to yours. Example no thermostat on the smoker and no knobs to control smoke flow to gas grill or charcoal grill. Didn't realize these features were missing until I started putting it together. Still gonna give it a try but those were some of the features I really wanted

They are getting marked Down at many Walmarts right now, I just bought one yesterday for $240, so anyone interested in buying these right now should definitely check their local Walmarts prices (By the way, the app it doesn’t show final mark down clearance prices for Walmart so this would have to be checked in the store).

@@tinman6969 yep, a store near me went down to $150 but it was sold out before I could get to it. Also the covers are on sale at many Walmart’s as well. Got my cover for 40% off.

Wow I don’t know where you all are getting these things for $250 and below even but these were 599 at Walmart and then they sold out at that price and they stopped carrying them and the prices went up to 899 online so I’m surprised to see them return to Walmart and then be sold that cheap!! I heard they couldn’t keep up with the demand is why they raised the prices and pulled out of Walmart but im assuming they got caught up and had a bunch of leftovers to move if they were discounted so much…? I don’t doubt they could still make a profit at $250 but it’s a steal for that price! I’ve had mine for over 4 years and it finally took a crap on me. Pit boss is a solid company because they saw it was a manufacturer defect in mine so they just sent me a brand new grill!! I can’t recommend these things enough! I use my grills hard at least 3-5 times per week so I would need a replacement every 6 months if they were crap!

Can you use pallets in the smoker tray also?

No if you use pellets your food will taste sour and tangy. A real funky taste. Reason is the pellets burn completely up in the wood burning tray, And in a pellet smoker it's a controlled burn that make the smoke. I found out from experience with my memphis.
