We've used this griddler for a variety of items including steak, fish, vegetables kzbin.infoUgkxMcXT6_MuT0hB3ejyGQQHaeof9bwoWPUf and mushrooms and it's been great! Gets that great smokey flavor when using high heat or sear. The grill works amazingly simple and very low smoke for what it is. Heat gets up fairly quick, especially on closed position. The griddler side is fairly simple, better for eggs and pancakes rather than any cooking. Use the flat plates with the grill side if needed.Cleanup is easy and having heat on both sides is great for cooking a large amount or panini press.This definitely gets hot though so be careful with the sides.

I have this grill, I love it ,is there a way to control the temperature lower than 200°f in the smoker side? I want to try to do a brisket but I feel like I might need a better smoker with temperature control.

Excellent presentation video of the grill. I just got mines last week and the food you have cooked looked so bomb! Which I had a question about. Can we get the seasoning you used for the whole chicken, type of wood used, temperature of the smoker and how long it took?
@BBQChefRohan3 жыл бұрын
Hi, for the seasoning you can use any chicken rub. There is so many sort of rubs that I cannot get an advice on a particular one. The wood used here is cherry. Fruit woods are great for chicken. the temperature was about 250°F, and it took between 2 and 3 hours.

Chef Rohan - Can you, or any of your subscribers tell me whether you can use a natural gas conversion kit on this? This grill looks to be the bomb - and exactly what I'm looking for, assuming I can convert it to my newly piped natural gas line.
@BBQChefRohan4 жыл бұрын
Hi, I'm sorry but I'm not able to answer this. First of all because I'm from France, and the gas system is not the same... You should get in touch with the tech service from Dansons. They will help you for sure.

Can you smoke on the Charcoal side, if you prefer a charcoal smoke vs. electric?
@BBQChefRohan2 жыл бұрын
Yes of course! But you will need to set up an indirect zone with your charcoal, like you would do on a kettle.
