Heat and Smoke naturally go Up! That vertical of yours proves that! \m/

So there is a lack of reviews for the Pit Boss KC Combo. The videos I have found are essentially how to put it together, what it offers, and folks like you who are using it.. The main question is, do you love this grill/smoker and do you recommend it.. Is the overall quality good.. I, like a lot of guys, are torn between getting a good propane grill and a separate pellet smoker.. I love the versatility of this unit, and it appears pretty solid, but an honest open critique is what I havent seen yet.
@thegalleryBBQ4 жыл бұрын
Hello David. Unfortunately, I have sold my KC COMBO and picked up the Pit Boss 820 which is smaller in size and adds a bit more smoke to the food. I love it! The KC is very well made and is a workhorse. I do own a Blackstone so did not use the side flat top as much as I thought. Your needs, family size will point you in the direction of which grill to get. Feel free to email me about any of them. gallerybbq@gmail.com.... Sub my channel and take a look around. Enjoy and thanks for the question.

Great rib cook! They look amazing. Like your temp/hot spot fix. Pit Boss actually messaged me on IG after a pic I posted . I had covered my deflector in foil, like you did, to make clean up easier. Pit Boss said that while they understand doing this the foil will cause temp issues so they suggest not doing it. I haven’t cooked on it yet without the foil but will test it out before too long. Just thought I’d share. Looks like you fixed your issue though. Great video. Have an awesome week!

Tommy, the video wasn't real clear. Is there two pieces; bottom is a flat plate? If so what is approx size. Then there is a shallow dish, maybe 12" dia x 2" deep? Can you tell i'm an EN GEN EER
@thegalleryBBQ4 жыл бұрын
Hi Michael, Ive got a more detailed explanation with some time lapse footage. coming soon. If you own this KC it's a game-changer. ive been doing a Corned Beef since 6 AM first @250 and now @ 300. this smoker is in Rec Tec territory as far as Temperature control goes. i'm real excited about this.

@@thegalleryBBQ I just bought one on 2/8/20. I smoked a brisket yesterday for 11 hrs and it turned out beautiful. I just sold my Pit Boss K24 Ceramic Charcoal Grill which i got as a retirement gift 3 years ago. I love the KC Combo. The temperature control is +/- 10 degrees and the WIFI monitoring on the cell phone makes it convenient to keep an eye on the status. The side griddle is fantastic so far but I'm still learning. All in All i would recommend this equipment 100%
