Hi mike how do you like your grill we just got a lock down here so I’m off to go buy one I’m sitting between this one and the Traeger purely for temp control reasons

Great informative video, I'm just waiting on mine being delivered, why no more videos on this pellet grill?

And folks that's why you open the bottom of the Box fold out the bottom box flaps so you can lift the Box up & over the contents...!

@@frogsbbq5630 I think it's a steal at this price. I like the weight how its sealed and the look.

Thanks for the unboxing, good stuff 🖒 Quick question; did it come with the meat probe which can be seen in the end of the video? If so, where in the packaging was it found? Im just about to assemble my Navigator, but cannot find the probe which is supposed to be included. Cheers.
@frogsbbq56304 жыл бұрын
Hi Tomas, Thank you for watching my videos The meat probe is included, it should be in the box in the barbecue with all the screws, plates, wheels...

Thanks for the video. Not much on KZbin about the Navigators. Is the curved plate in the grill ("deflector plate" I believe) slanted - higher on the left, lower on the right?
@frogsbbq56304 жыл бұрын
That's correct. You also have the sear plate that can be open

I'd like to put the old school 2" Pit Boss Analog Dial Thermometer in the center of the cooking chamber cover in mine... Makes a quick visual reference.
@SocialHgrenade4 жыл бұрын
Have you had to clean the deflector yet? Have you ever covered it in foil to keep it clean during a smoke?
@frogsbbq56304 жыл бұрын
Yes I have cleaned it many times. Wire brush every 3 uses, it keeps fairly clean. I never use foil as I got told that it can get the grease next to the fire and set your grill on fire. Also if you had foil, you can't use the sear plate. The best you can do to keep it clean is to use a tray with grates so the grease drops in it.

Thanks for posting. How are the seal around the lid? Any gaps or is it pretty locked in?
@frogsbbq56303 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! The seal is between the cylinder and the lid. The lid is sitting on the gasket, with the weight it is locked in properly and barely no smoke comes out. Very pleased with the results

Does it come with a chimney?
@frogsbbq56304 жыл бұрын
No there is no chimney, there are a few holes at the back of the barrel on the top. You can open then fully and half close them. It works pretty and the smoke is distributed evenly.

Dude you need a mic. Had to crank my tv all the way to realise you were talking. Other than that. How have you found this pellet bbq now? I’m looking at getting one. Is it worth it? Pros and cons ?
@frogsbbq56302 жыл бұрын
I bought a mic and new camera after that video I like the it, I cooked around 100 times on it so far. Pros : cooks well, temperature is stable, grates are easy to clean. Acces to the flame to sear. Cheap to run, I use 400g of pellets per hour Cons: no WiFi, you will need a Bluetooth thermometer. It can be a bit hotter in the middle just above the fire pot. Too clean it you need to remove the grates and heat deflector Overall it is very good, solid. I found by hoovering the ashes after each cook keeps it performing well

Did the grill come with cover and bucket?
@frogsbbq5630 Жыл бұрын
Yes for the bucket with 1 foil tray for it. Mine did not have a cover inside the box

How is it going so far
@frogsbbq56303 жыл бұрын
Great, I have done around 100 cooks in a year. As long as you keep it clean and pellets are dry, it is a very good machine

where did you buy your grill at? i live in los angeles and i cant find them
@frogsbbq56304 жыл бұрын
I was lucky enough to win it, it got delivered by Dansons Europe. There are a few dealers in UK. You can find the dealers in US on pitboss-grills.com/dealers/ Hope it helps

hey ! I know you made this video a while ago ... but I was wondering how did you receive the meat probe ? I just bought one and I could not find the probe so I was wondering if by any chance it was hiding somewhere or does it just come in a box ? Thanks for any clues you can give me.
@frogsbbq56303 жыл бұрын
I think it was with the documentation. To be honest, I have never used it as the grill is not connected. You'd be better off getting a Bluetooth thermometer, at least you can follow it on your phone

Looks like your stomach is in the way🤣🤣 by the Way Nice grill! Are you stil happy with the grill?
@frogsbbq56304 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment Jonas. It is a great grill for that price range. I don't use the probe given with it, I have an inkbird thermometer so I can have the temp on my phone. I use it mainly during the week as it is up and running in 5 minutes

using Traeger pellets on a Pitt Boss Grill:(. blasphemy. those pellets are not worthy to be in a Pit Boss grill. Lol. great vid Bro
@frogsbbq56304 жыл бұрын
I agree with you! I would have loved to use the pitboss pellets that came with it... if only someone didn't steal them during shipping. Luckly enough, Pitboss customer service sent new bags straight away to me but I could not wait 2 weeks to do that video! Thank you for watching my videos, hope you like them, don't forget to subscribe as I have more videos coming with that grill
