@@Decetop did you ever see the anger from Bill Hohn with Roy Oswalt screaming expletives when Oswalt beaned Michael Barrett near the back of the head?? He got a 4 game suspension and Dotel a 12 game suspension. Palmerio, and Jason Lane were also ejected later on. Kerry Wood, Hollandsworth, Zambrano, Hawkins, Walker, and Baker were also thrown out of teh game. Big Z, Walker and Hollandsworth were all suspended along with Baker. Garner suspended 7 games and Dotel 12 games

The game has become bad with the new rule on trying to make the games faster. I understand them trying to speed up the game but hell a batter should get a time out when they ask for it. especially since batters can not step out of the box anymore. plus that ump is horrible. how does he even have a license to ump baseball

Arctic Wolf time is requested. The umpire is not required to give time. You do not automatically get time ever. You ask and then it's up to the umpire.

That ump should have been fined and suspended for his miserable performance, unreasonable ejection and making contact with the player. Votto obviously should have been fined as well for his outburst but the umps are never held accountable and it's ridiculous.

iGrowBeard umpires are sent down to AAA or lower based on performance. If the umpire was not then The higher ups at MLB don't have a problem with how the umpire responded to this situation.

Players shouldn't be instantly ejected from the game for arguing with the ump, especially if they have reason to believe the ump is wrong. The ump isn't God on the field.
