F1 2013 is still my all-time favorite F1 game. Starting with the epic intro and music, through the mature graphics and controls, and of course the Classic mode as icing on the cake. This game was a worthy end to an era.

I really miss F1 2014 and 13 because it'd has a perfect balance , Although the one things that I'd typically likes a lot was red flags due the incident in middle of track and pit camera but manual pitstop is literally messing up

I assumed they’d fix it for F1 2021, but the cars still jerk in/out of the pit boxes in a super unrealistic way. I don’t know how anybody at Codemasters could test the game like that and sign off on it. Watch it be exactly the same for F1 2022

Nothing touches the pits in Championship Edition. You could actually make a difference in the speed of your stop and it was a brilliant mini game.

They should do more with cinematics in the first place. Driver povs in the paddock, even if they’re only cutscenes would bring the game to a whole new level

Tbh f1 pit boxes in the f1 game are way too close to eachother. At tracks like Zandvoort with a short pitlane i get it. But tracks like Imola its really unnecessary and unrealistic, since the AI controlling the car at the pits doing 90° degrees turns to make it to the pitbox.

next year going to be more buggy I think, cause they probably switch to the frostbite engine that the other EA games use. So I think it takes one game to adapt the most and make it a good product. I recommend not to preorder the next game and also generally not EA games. It's like 2014 5 when they switched to next gen and it was a buggy mess.

Developer nowadays call things like this (Features a player expects from a succesor because the game before had it) "Legacy features". In Battlefield (a Fps game! ) a scoreboard is now a "Legacy feature" . Like dozens of other stuff the franchise is known for.

Pitstops are the perfect place for a quicktimeevent where the player can influence the time of the pitstop. Not like today you just get a random slow of fast pit stop out of your control.

@@cory1211 I just felt it was more realistic because if you fucked up your breaking then you would lose a lot of time. With the current game there is almost no input when you are in the pitlane and everything is up to chance. A little more input would make it a lot more fun.

Same in 2013 but in 2012 it was an external camera in 2013 it's a body camera for one of the pit crew members
