SO nice to find a "current" video on this. And thank you for the quick-CLEAR explanation on the strip cards potential problems:-) For the issue of where to put my bills I guess in my front pockets where I put em the past 72 years:-) It always works just fine. Well except when Surfin & such....

I put things in a very specific order in my wallet and just about anything for that matter, blame my 20 yrs in the Army. I would never put the cards in the wrong way but just the fact that there is a potential for screwing up cards is a no go with me.

Kind of seems a bit bulky for an EDC wallet. Seems too big for a front pocket or a back pocket wallet.

I bought the ue version of the wallet round 5-7 months ago & have used & luv it everyday, @ first i thought i had it down where in real life scenario if ur @ a liqour store getting something & there is a line behind u, u dont wanna hold up the line anymore than u have to, right, so when i first got the mag ez ue wallet b4 i left the cashier @ the liqour store i would have to put the change back into the wallet (i had a sweet deal that included the box & money clip modules & personaly the money clip is kinda nice as to the box has more u can do with it plus u can put the same amount of bills into the box module & a extra 3-4 cards as well) so i would seperate the change from the paper bills fold up the paper bills put them into the money clip literally precisely other wise it wont close right then put the pocket change into the box module, this is actually not a quick pricess @ all, so i found using the module with the shielding or whatever along with the box module and cover is plenty for me & more convienent, plus with cover and front facing plate that is not protected for that module u can always fold up a fifty or hundred or whatever paper money u feel like and put it under that card that occupies the relevant card slots with the cards slotted in, 1 more thing with the box & money clip modules that is really cool ( u can use both or just 1 of them) is that when u got ur wallet all set up u can instead of fanning the modules to the sides or taking them apart, the deguising module u can slide down so long as u have either the money clip or box module next to it in ur set up, so insted of fanning through till u get to the module u want u just slide down the deguising moudlue & BAMMM theres ur cash or whatever, another advantage to this is trying to stuff ur money back into the money clip or change into the box or what have you, if u have it where the degaussing module is slid down its way way way easier to put the cash & coins away, thus solving my taking a long time @ the liqour store w/ a line of ppl behind me dilemma, good video i was curious as to what u felt about the wallet but i would strongly suggest get rid of the module that holds the 2 cards & get the box module, it will make the wallet so much better for you, i promise u that !, thanks for reading !

I mean, I don't think Iv'e ever used the magnetic slider on my cards. If I were to buy that wallet I just wouldn't care about the magnetic stripes.

Well that sucks. All my cards have chip and strip on them so I wouldn’t be able to use it. Also you get extra layers and next thing you know that wallet costs 500 bucks.

I really don't understand all the concern about the magnets. It's 2020 not 2010. All cards now are tap and chip. Yeah, they have a magnetic stripe, but try to use it... if you use it at a terminal, it will tell you to use the chip on your card. Additionally, effective October 2020 the final part of the liability shift (Gas station pumps, etc.) went into effect, completing the phased approach that started in October 2015. Businesses have already switched to the new readers because of this - they don't want to be held responsible for fraudulent charges. If you're doing international travel, that's not an issue because in reality, other countries switched years ago, before the USA. If you haven't received a new chip card, you just need to pick up the phone and ask one to be sent. You don't even need the UE version anymore... the original pitaka works just fine.

My bank card has both chip and strip. Not all terminals in my area are chip readers so I have to rely on the magnetic strip to make purchases.

@@ChrispyThings Wow, I find that amazing - especially considering the fact that the liability shift has completed. That's not even taking into account the security exposure. I'd think twice about shopping there - thieves will be seeking those last remaining magnetic strip establishments out, so you're more apt to be a victim by shopping there.

Used this for almost 4 years now. Best wallet I had. It looks (except some very little scratches) like the first day, magnets works perfect. But unfortunally Pitaka set this product discontinued….

Good to hear, I scored one on eBay today. Did you ever have a problem with cards getting demagnetized? Now that I think of it I VERY rarely even swipe cards anymore, maybe an occasional giftcard. Everything else is paid by phone tap or card tap, and I don't think magnets should affect the chips in the cards.

Hell na. Only 6 cards, and $90? I'm out. Ide rather get a trayvax. There's nothing more efficient than a card stacking type wallet (no material between cards).

All my cards with chips have magnetic strips? So if my cards have the chip on it does that mean it can go in the regular layer? I’m confused? I have the Xsto wallet and do you like that one better than this one?

It can go in the regular section, but will demagnetize the stripe. The chip will be unaffected

My grandmother would say this wallet is "too much sugar for a dime"... 80 bucks for a wallet that only holds 6 cards, or spend another 30 dollars to add only 2 cards... Bulking the wallet even more... All while possibly ruining your frigging cards. 😂 What idiot would pay for that??

Your superb review skills make this terrible product look good. Magnets and WARNINGS galore says it all to avoid this wallet. The only good in this wallet that I see is the beneficial health effects of magnetic therapy while in your pocket. Magnets get dirty from pocket lint and iron dust and eventually will lose pull strength. It's back to the drawing board for Pitaka's R&D team. Thank you.
